Sure, you can send us you own garments for us to print on, however, there are a few points you must understand before you go sending us your shirts.
Firstly, not all garments are suitable for us to print on, so we can NOT guarantee that your garment is printable. What your t-shirt is made out of is the main reason for this.
Secondly, the differences in printing methods will affect which garments can be printed. Thirdly, your t-shirt will be printed by real people who are only human. Due to human error and occasional machine malfunction you need to allow a margin for error (Usually about 1%). This is not much, however, because we do not know which size or colour this may happen to, we ask that, if your quantities are critical you supply at least (1) extra in each size and colour. We will not compensate you for any misprinted garments. If we supply the garments, we replace all misprinted or damaged stock.
Finally, you will have to pay the shipping costs to get the t-shirts to our warehouse.
DTG Digital Printing
DTG Digital Printing is the latest in Customised T-Shirt Printing. The following is the guide to choosing the right t-shirts for this print method.
- T-Shirts must be 100% cotton - white, natural or light dyes.
- NEW! T-shirts with cotton and polyester content. Example 80% cotton/20% poly blends.
- 100% polyester t-shirts can be Dye Sublimated.
- Important Point. Your t-shirts must be white or light in colour.
PLEASE NOTE: Black or dark coloured garments will NOT be accepted as we need to apply a underbase pre-treatment to make the inks adhere to these t-shirts. Extensive testing is required for each garment before printing to ensure suitability.
Screen Printing
Screen-Printing is the oldest method for customising t-shirts. The following is a guide to choosing the right t-shirts for this method of printing.
- We recommend using T-shirts that are 100% cotton - or with high cotton content.
- Other blends can be printed. These may incure a higher printing price as different inks and curing process are required.
- There are no restrictions with colours with this method.
