Artwork Requirements

Your artwork is the most important part of printing a t-shirt. If the design is low quality chances are the finished print will be also. If you are unsure about any of our artwork requirements. Send us an email or give us a call, we will be glad to help.

T-Shirt Printing Australia uses both Mac and PC environments; we use EPS files for most artwork. We mostly use Illustrator or .AI file format for screen-printing and Photoshop or .PSD file format for DTG Digital Printing.

Our main programs are Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Photoshop CC. Artwork can be accepted on CD, DVD, Via DropBox or emailed in a Zip format. Preferred Format is a compatible Illustrator .ai or .eps vector format.

DO NOT SUPPLY artwork as PC file formats such as MS Word, Power Point or doc files. PDF files are recommended for viewing purposes, therefore, some PDF file may not be suitable for printing. (PDF files originated by a vector file are acceptable)

DO NOT SUPPLY hard copy artwork as letterheads, business cards or printed brochures, as these do not have high enough resolution to reproduce for t-shirt printing and usually have to be redrawn at additional cost.

Our design team offers a Logo Re-Drawing Service that can convert your Logo from a low resolution, low quality file type and redraw your Logo or Graphic into a clean crisp Logo, ready for use for all kinds of purposes, including T-shirt Printing.

You get to keep the high resolution files, including a PDF version that can be viewed, sent to other services or used for other advertising media. Click Here to Order Your Logo Re-Drawing Online

If you use an advertising agency or graphic designer, you should contact them - they regularly work with preferred file formats and should be able provide you with the right file type.

T-Shirt Printing Australia also operates its own Logo Design Service that may be used if necessary.

Artwork and/or artwork adjustments are charged at a rate of $79.00 per hour or part thereof.
