Washing Instructions for DTG Printing

It is important to follow these washing instructions carefully to ensure that you get the maximum life out of your printed garment.

T-Shirt Care Instruction Label

Firstly, make sure you read the care instruction on the t-shirt label.

By law all garments must have these instructions sewn into the garment. They should be easy to find, generally under or on the neck label, or sewn into the side seam of most t-shirts.

They will have things like, where the t-shirt is made, what the t-shirt is made from, general wash instructions and what not to do with your t-shirt, like tumble drying.

Extra care instructions for all digitally printed garments

• Gentle cycle ‐ Cold machine wash only
• Use standard washing powder only; it is not recommended that fabric softeners be used as they may strip the coloured ink
• Do not bleach or use bleaching agents of any kind
• Do not tumble dry
• Wash garment inside out
• Only wash whites with whites, and darks with darks. Do not mix colours.
