What Happens After I Place My Order?

T-Shirt Printing Australia A common question we get asked is: “What happens after I place an order?”

This article is to help inform you of the process WE go through (behind the scenes) to process your order. To do this we have 2 goals:

  1. To make you confident we will produce your order without a hiccup.
  2. And to actually produce your order (and ship it) without a hiccup.


Once you tell us you want to go ahead with your order, our team goes to work.

To make sure we completely understand what it is you want printed, we compile the details of your order into our system. Sometimes our staff may ask extra questions and may even fuss over some of the finer details, please bare with us. If we don’t fully understand, our Production Team may not get it right.

“Currently our team has a 98% success rate with correct order production.”

We enter all your order details into our software, adding all the items you’re purchasing and the printing positions for each item.

We send you an invoice, where we require at least 50% upfront payment, before we get started with proofing. The reason for this, is we want serious customers. Proofing takes a lot of time and effort from our Orders Team, and experience has shown that non-commited customers tend not to go through with their order. If you are a repeat customer, we may waive this step.

What's involved with proofing?

For each item we create a mock-up of your order, showing the prints in the correct position on the t-shirt.

For each print we create an artwork proof at the correct print size, with the colour of the t-shirt in the background to show you what it will look like when printed.

We create an Order Confirmation, for each item, with delivery address, quantity, sizes, colours, mock-up, shipping information; every detail you may want to know about your order.

“90% of errors originate from customers not checking their Order Confirmation.”

Once this process is complete, you will be sent an email with all your documents to check over, along with your invoice, so, you can make final payment.

Usually, this will be processed within 24 hours, however, may take longer if we are experiencing higher than usual customer contact.

We can’t stress this enough to our customers: check your order documents carefully, this is where we pick up any mistakes BEFORE we print your t-shirts. This is very important.
